Voting & Election Information


November 6, 2018 (Fall General Election) – Polls open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.


Dates To Be Aware Of:

  • In-office voting available September 17 through November 2, weekdays only, between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. No in-office voting is available on Monday, November 5, nor on Election Day.
  • Absentee ballots are mailed out on September 20. Absentee ballots must be received in Clerk’s office by November 2 to be counted.
  • Avanti Nursing Home on-site voting will be on October 23 at 10:00 A.M.
  • Public test of voting equipment will be held on October 30 at 11:00 A.M. in the Minocqua Center Gymnasium.
  • Election Day: Tuesday, November 6. Polls are open from 7:0 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Polling Place

The official polling place for all Town of Minocqua registered voters is the Minocqua Center Gymnasium, located at 415 Menominee Street in downtown Minocqua.

Polling Hours

Polls open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M.

Voting Wards

Minocqua has seven voting wards. All residents vote at the polling place noted above, but you will need to know what ward you live in when voting. A large voting ward map is available for reference at the polling place (personal assistance available). You may also refer to the Voting Ward Map link at the bottom of this page to determine what ward you reside in.
