The Town brush site will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. through November 8, 2020.
- Accepted materials include: leaves, pine needles, grass clippings, branches less than 6” diameter, lumber with no paint, stain, treatments, etc. Materials that are not accepted include: stumps, items over 6” diameter, anything painted. Empty any plastic bags and take them home. Keep branches and lumber separate from lawn rakings.
- A permit to use the site is required and may be obtained at the Minocqua Town Offices during normal business hours. Proof of Minocqua property ownership will be required to obtain permit.
- The site is available for use by Town of Minocqua property owners only, and all materials must be from property located in Minocqua.
- If picking up compost (black dirt), you must load the material yourself, the site attendant will not load compost for you.
Directions: From the intersection of Highways 50 & 70 West in Minocqua, take Highway 70 West, approximately six miles. Turn left on Kilawee Road. Travel a little over one-half mile and the site is on your left (gate and posted signs will be visible).
