4th of July Flyover, Ski Show and Fireworks Are On!

The Let’s Minocqua Visitors Bureau officially announced that the Fourth of July parade will not be held this year; however, the vintage military plane flyover, water ski show and fireworks are a GO!

FLYOVER: Tentative time for the flyover is 4pm, weather dependent. The three-ship flyover will be over the Highway 51 corridor from Arbor Vitae/Woodruff to Minocqua, and over the Minocqua lake chain!

SKI SHOW: A special 4th of July performance of the Min-Aqua Bats Water Ski Club begins at 7pm at the Aqua Bowl on West Park Avenue in downtown Minocqua. This is the 70th Anniversary of the Min-Aqua Bats, the longest-running amateur ski show in the country!

FIREWORKS: The fireworks extravaganza will begin at dark. Shells are launched just behind the blue water tower in downtown Minocqua, so anywhere you can see the blue water tower in downtown Minocqua–from land or water–will be a great place to view the fireworks!
