Paying Your Real Estate Tax Bill

Real Estate Tax bills were mailed out to property owners on December 9, 2021. The deadline for paying either the entire bill or the first installment of your bill is January 31, 2022.

If you send your payment by mail, a postmark by January 31 is acceptable. Make check payable to “Minocqua Town Treasurer” and mail to: Town Treasurer, 415 Menominee St., Suite 300, Minocqua, WI 54548. All payments made after January 31 must be sent to Oneida County Treasurer, P.O. Box 400, Rhinelander, WI 54501.

DROP SLOT: There is a tax payment drop slot on the front of the Minocqua Center building, to the left of the main entrance (the same drop slot used for absentee ballots). The Town encourages use of this drop slot for Real Estate tax payments; however, DO NOT PLACE CASH PAYMENTS IN THE DROP SLOT, only checks or money orders please.

WALK-IN: Payments are accepted at the Town Treasurer’s office weekdays only between 9:00AM and 4:00PM through January 31, 2022. (The Treasurer’s office is located on the 3rd Floor of the Minocqua Center, 415 Menominee St., downtown Minocqua.) PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAY EXCEPTIONS: December 23 & 24-CLOSED ALL DAY; December 30-OPEN 9AM to NOON ONLY; December 31-CLOSED ALL DAY.

PAY ONLINE: To pay your Real Estate Tax bill online you may use a credit/debit card (2.39% third party vendor service fee), or E-Check ($1.50 fee). CLICK HERE to pay online. Note: The online payment system for payments to the Minocqua Town Treasurer is not available after January 31, 2022.
