This is a WisDOT project to repair and update concrete curbs, gutters, curb ramps, and roadway joints on US Highway 51 in downtown Minocqua.
The project began April 6, 2026, and is expected to be completed by June 18th, 2026. (Weather and other circumstances can affect end date.)
All travel lanes will be opened up for Memorial Weekend (from Noon on Friday to 6:00 A.M. on Tuesday).
Work Zones:
Hwy 51 NORTHBOUND – From north end of Hwy 51 Bridge to E Front St
Hwy 51 SOUTHBOUND – From Lakeshore Dr to north end of Hwy 51 Bridge
If any work remains to be completed after June 18th, 2026, it will be postponed until September 8th, 2026, and all traffic lanes will be opened up until that date.
