Starting in Spring of 2024, a new method for payment of daily use fees was implemented at the four town-owned boat ramps on the Lake Minocqua chain of lakes:
- Schoolhouse Bay Ramp: 429 E Park Ave
- Thirsty Whale Ramp: 453 W Park Ave
- Cedar Street Ramp: 968 Cedar St
- Thoroughfare Ramp: 9175 Thoroughfare Rd
Payment of daily user fees on these four boat ramps is enforced from April 1st through November 30th of each year.
Users now scan a QR code at the ramp and select their choice of a daily, 3-day, weekly or seasonal permit. The process is simple and does not require downloading an app. Ramp use fees are $10.00 for a daily permit, $30.00 for a 3-day permit, or a seasonal permit for $100.00. More information on payment options is available at: www.minocquaboatlandings.com
Ramp use permits are issued for a single tow vehicle; additional permits are required for each additional tow vehicle.
[The former method of payment involved envelopes for cash payments placed in a drop box and a payment stub placed on the dash of the tow vehicle. This payment method is no longer available.]
