Work Description:
The Blue Lake Road intersection with Highway 51 will be reconstructed and realigned. A right turn lane will be added for motorists exiting south onto Highway 51.
The section of Blue Lake Road from Highway 51 to Agawak Road, approximately 1 mile, will be widened to a pavement width of 30 feet with travel lanes of 11 feet plus a 4-foot paved asphalt shoulder on each side for bike/pedestrian travel.
The section of Blue Lake Road from Agawak Road to just east of Sutton Road, approximately 2.2 miles, will have crack repairs and a new asphalt overlay matching the current roadway width. Shoulders will be re-graveled.
The work zone will remain open to local traffic. Expect single lane traffic with flagging and occasional delays.
The project is being performed by Pitlik & Wick. Project cost is approximately $1,000,000.
