There are a couple of options for disposal of Christmas trees this year, both of which are free of charge. Please note dates and times that drop-offs are accepted:
- The Town of Minocqua Christmas tree disposal site is available now through January 31st, 2025, from 8AM to 4PM each day. This site is for use by Minocqua residents and is located on Adventure Lane, which is off Highway 51 south between Gun Club Road & Bolger Lake Road (Northwoods Zipline site). Signs are posted. This is for real trees only. Please be sure that all decorations have been removed from trees.
- Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua (10094 Hwy 70W) is now accepting Christmas trees from 9AM to 2PM daily. There is a sign hanging on the fence in their front parking lot by the drop off sign. Trees must be free of lighting and decorations. Any questions, call 715.356.5588.
