Minocqua Town Offices To Re-open May 18th; Facilities Update

The Minocqua Town Office will re-open to the public this Monday, May 18, and resume normal hours of operation (weekdays from 8:30am-4:30pm). The Gymnasium and other meeting rooms will not be available until further notice. The County will determine when it will re-open the Zoning office. Hand sanitizer will be available and regular sanitary cleaning will take place. Visitors may wear masks but will not be required to.

The Public Library is much more complicated and will work out its own path to re-open based on guidance from Wisconsin Valley Library Service. Right now, they are offering pre-ordered book pickups and they will begin allowing book drop-offs within the next several days. Please visit their website for updates: http://minocqualibrary.org/

Town playgrounds will re-open tomorrow, May 15. Parents and guardians must supervise their children and precautionary measures such as hand sanitizing and distancing are highly recommended.

The tennis nets are up at Torpy Park. Volleyball nets will be going up next week.

Public restrooms at Veterans Park and Torpy Park will be opened tomorrow (May 15). Public restrooms at the Bearskin Trailhead will be opened next week. Minocqua Park Complex (Hwy 70W) restrooms will be open within the next two weeks.
